Manually Uninstalling WebSphere 8 on Windows

Here are the steps I followed to remove IBM WebSphere 8 from my Windows 7 Professional laptop.

As you can see in the program files snapshot I have several installs and I wish to remove WebSphere 8

    Launch IBM installation Manager

    Click Uninstall to uninstall packages

Once validated, select the appropriate Installation Packages you wish to delete and click "Next"

    click "Uninstall" to continue

The uninstall wizard will remove profiles and binaries. A good tip is to make sure you look at which installation directory the uninstaller is going to remove. you wouldn't want to remove the wrong installation set.

    Click "Finish" to compete.

You will need to remove the remaining folder tree which contains logs etc.
