    WebSphere Business-Level Applications.

    From IBM "A business-level application is an administration model that provides the entire definition of an application as it makes sense to the business. A business-level application is a WebSphere configuration artifact, similar to a server or cluster, that is stored in the product configuration repository"

    In a nutshell WebSphere Application 7 has a new administrative feature called Business-Level applications. What this means is that you can logically group related application allowing the complete start and stop of many apps as a single unit or more correctly as a group of assets that are related to perform a business function.
