    Switching from FLEXlm to Atria licensing


    [vobadmin@localhost ~]$ clearlicense
    This machine is configured for IBM Rational Common Licensing (powered by FLEXlm software).
    No ClearCase (Atria) Licensing information is available.
    Please use IBM Rational Common Licensing utilities instead.


    Switching from FLEXlm to Atria licensing

    To switch from FLEXlm licensing to Atria licensing, follow these steps.
    1. Identify the name of the Atria license server host.
    2. Stop ClearCase.


    cd /opt/rational/clearcase/linux_x86/etc/
    ./clearcase stop

    3. Go to the /var/adm/rational/clearcase/config directory or /var/adm/atria/config/
    4. Create a file titled license_host, open it, and add the ClearCase license server host name on the first line.
    5. Remove the flexlm_host file.
    6. Restart ClearCase.

    Or you can de-install ClearCase, and re-run the siteprep script to re-specify Artia as the licensing as opposed to Flex
