Problem
When stopping the server, the following warning occurs in the stopServer.log file:

[6/30/06 8:25:11:344 GMT-08:00] 0000000a SSLConfig W CWPKI0041W: One or more key stores are using the default password.

Cause
Use of the default password is not recommended. The warning is simply suggesting you change the passwords.

Solution
Change the keystore and truststore password in the AdminConsole and in the properties file used by clients during SSL communication. Note: Both of these steps are required to make the warning go away.

1. Navigate in the AdminConsole to Security > SSL certificate and key management > Key stores and certificates. Select your keystore or truststore and change their password.

2. Edit the <WAS_HOME>/profiles/<Profile_Name>/properties/ssl.client.props file:

com.ibm.ssl.keyStore=${user.root}/etc/key.p12
com.ibm.ssl.keyStorePassword={xor}CDo9Hgw=

com.ibm.ssl.trustStore=${user.root}/etc/trust.p12
com.ibm.ssl.trustStorePassword={xor}CDo9Hgw=

The original keystore and truststore password will already be hardcoded in, but encrypted so you cannot read them. Change these passwords to the new keystore and truststore password. You can use the PropFilePasswordEncoder utility to encode these passwords later.
