    How to stop a node agent in WebSphere

    <was_profile_root>/bin/stopNode.sh

    You may have to specify the node name if there are multiple nodes installed using the same base binaries. Use ./stopNode -help to get command line syntax.

    [wasadmin@websphere bin]$ ./stopNode.sh -help
    Usage: stopNode [options]
    options: -nowait
    -stopservers [-saveNodeState]
    -quiet
    -logfile <filename>
    -replacelog
    -trace
    -timeout <seconds>
