    How to set the GPS coordinates on an Android Simulator

    You can use the Android Console. ou can connect to the Emulator via Telnet. You then have a Emulator console that lets you enter certain data like geo fixes, network etc.

    telnet localhost 5554, then you can issue commands


    You then can use the geo fix command to set a latitude, longitude and if needed altitude on the device that is passed to all programs using the gps location provider.


    geo fix lng lat

    for example geo fix 51.58 -0.4

    ==================

    You can also use Eclipse by opening the emulator control tab. (Assumes you have installed the Android SKD Plugin in Eclipse)






    You can set manual coords, or you can upload .GPX files etc
