Error when testing a JDBC connection to Derby

The test connection operation failed for data source HRDerbyDataSource on server server01 at node LocalhostNode01 with the following exception: java.sql.SQLException: Password can not be null. DSRA0010E: SQL State = 08001, Error Code = 40,000. View JVM logs for further details.




Solution:

Add a JAAS alias
