My Services WebSphere Training | JEE Build & Deploy | Automatic Linux Provisioning
The reason this is, is that you may be logged in as "administrator" and though your have set the user variable CLEARCASE_PRIMARY_GROUP, the user (administrator) is not actually in this group and so creds reports wrong. Solution is to add Administrator to appropriate group. In my example it is ccuser1. =============================================================== C:\Program Files\Rational\ClearCase\etc\utils>creds Login name: WIN2003\Administrator USID: NT:S-1-5-21-3791215689-1494141229-2487919907-500 Primary group: WIN2003\Domain Users (NT:S-1-5-21-3791215689-1494141229-248791990 7-513) Groups: (13) Everyone (NT:S-1-1-0) BUILTIN\Administrators (NT:S-1-5-32-544) BUILTIN\Users (NT:S-1-5-32-545) BUILTIN\Pre-Windows 2000 Compatible Access (NT:S-1-5-32-554) NT AUTHORITY\REMOTE INTERACTIVE LOGON (NT:S-1-5-14) NT AUTHORITY\INTERACTIVE (NT:S-1-5-4) NT AUTHORITY\Authenticated Users (NT:S-1-5-11) NT AUTHORITY\This Organization (NT:S-1-5-15) LOCAL (NT:S-1-2-0) WIN2003\Domain Admins (NT:S-1-5-21-3791215689-1494141229-2487919907-512) WIN2003\Schema Admins (NT:S-1-5-21-3791215689-1494141229-2487919907-518) WIN2003\Enterprise Admins (NT:S-1-5-21-3791215689-1494141229-2487919907-519) WIN2003\Group Policy Creator Owners (NT:S-1-5-21-3791215689-1494141229-24879 19907-520) You do not have ClearCase administrative privileges.
