    Cannot connect to Queue Manager using WebSphere MQ Explorer

    Solution:

    We need to add a user to the mqm group on the Linux/Unix server where the QM is running

    In windows open up a command prompt an type set to see your username:



    Log into Linux machine and add new user adduser -g mqm stever -p <mypassword>

    I was then able to re-connect and this is the result ...
